Every day is full of opportunities, from the moment you wake up until your head hits the pillow at the end of the day you have choices to make that impact what lies ahead. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” I was thinking about the future, that time somewhere down the road, and as I entered the year 2026 I was reminded of the words in Jeremiah. I was also reminded of the story of the two sides of our character and the value of good choices in which one we feed. My hope for you today is that you choose wisely and feed the side that seeks opportunities that bring good to the world, healing, encouragement, conviction if needed, and hope.
